Textile art is popular in the NC mountain region and I traveled to Blowing Rock
to learn how to create it. Like other forms of art,
you design as you go and each new project expands your selections.

Most of my art is made with 100% braided cotton rope made right here in NC. One-of-a-kind baskets, trivets and wall art add new character and texture to your décor. Cotton does occasionally absorb humidity so if the shape changes, just spray it with water, tug and form it a bit and let it dry, or use a steam iron to flatten it if it curls.
